The Capitol in Havana

Havana, Cuba – August 2008

El Capitolio is a neoclassical building modeled after the U.S. Capitol building in Washington and the Pantheon in Paris. Completed in 1929, it was home to Cuban legislature (Palace of Congress). Since the Cuban Revolution, The Capitol has become the seat of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and the Environment.
